Suamico is a village in Brown County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 8,686 at the 2000 census. The neighborhood community of Flintville is located within the village. It is part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area.

General Information
Suamico has two voting locations. Wards 1, 2, 3, and 4 vote at the Idlewild Park building located at 1500 Cotton Drive, Suamico, WI 54173. Wards 5, 6, 7, and 8 vote at the Municipal Services Center located at 12781 Velp Avenue, Suamico, WI 54313. Please click here to access the voting ward map. If you feel you are incorrectly placed in a ward, or your address does not appear on the list, please call (920) 434-2212, and Village staff will assist you in determining your polling location.

If registering to vote, please remember to bring proof of residence (such as a driver's license or utility bill). You may print out a Voter Registration Form ahead of time and bring it with you to your polling place along with your proof of residence. This will cut your time spent at the polling place in half. Additionally, you are required to have a photo ID in order to vote. Acceptable forms of photo ID include (1) Wisconsin Driver's License; (2) Wisconsin State ID; (3) military ID; (4) U.S. Passport; (5) Certificate of Naturalization; (6) State ID card receipt issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles; (7) ID issued by a federally-recognized Wisconsin Indian Tribe; or (8) photo ID issued by a Wisconsin-accredited university or college that meets certain requirements and is accompanied by proof of enrollment.

If you are a registered voter and would like an absentee ballot mailed, please fill out an Absentee Ballot Application and either bring it to our office and vote right away or mail it to our office at 12781 Velp Avenue, Suamico, WI 54313. You must supply a photo ID to have a ballot mailed to you. If you wish to vote absentee in person, you may do so when ballots become available at the Municipal Services Center until the Friday before. Again, you must have a photo ID to vote. The Thursday and Friday before each election, the Village Hall is open until 5 p.m. to accommodate absentee voting and registration. You cannot vote absentee or register the Monday before an election.
